The organization is registered in Tanzania, under Non-Governmental Organization Act No 24 of 2002 as amended in 2005 with registration No: I-NGO/00009693. Since its founding in Tanzania, SANREM has undertaken 3 action research and capacity building for international NGOs, the SNV-Netherlands Development Organization, USAID- Feed the Future program in Tanzania and the UK based private company-Sirus Minerals.
